When I was a little girl, I thought of my mum's wardrobe as one big dressing up box. My favourite dress of hers was a seemingly simple white dress covered with ribbons and rik-rak sewn in alternate layers. I have had a nostalgic fondness for Rik Rak ever since. And to my delight it is the fashion detail of the moment. I snapped up a top from & Other Stories (similar here) and I have this dress, reminiscent of my Mum's on my wish list.
